House Committee Passes Increase to Renewable Energy Standard, Takes Necessary Step in Repowering Colorado’s Economy

HB10-1001, today passed out of the Colorado State House Transportation and Energy Committee on a vote of 6-5. Sponsored by Representative Max Tyler (D-Lakewood/Golden), House Bill 1001 calls for an increase in the state’s Renewable Energy Standard from 20 percent to 30 percent by 2020.
