Two coal-fired power plants to close or convert to cleaner sources.

Environment Colorado members and our allies delivered hundreds of signatures to the Public Utilities Commission, urging its members to resist pressure from polluters to roll back the Clean Air, Clean Jobs plan. Ultimately, the PUC required that two of the state’s oldest, dirtiest power plants close or convert, keeping 70,000 pounds of toxic emissions out of the air. But other coal-fired plans are still spewing pollution. We need your help to keep up the fight.
