Preservation

From the ancient petroglyphs of the Vermillion Basin to the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado is home to some of the most stunning scenery and world-class outdoor recreation anywhere in the country. Unfortunately, too many of our natural wonders have been lost to commercial logging, mining and oil and gas drilling. That’s why Environment Colorado is working to protect Colorado’s wild areas, to make sure that the places that make Colorado such a special place to live are preserved for the enjoyment of future generations.
