Wind power for Colorado

Colorado generates the 6th-most wind energy of any state in the country: enough to power 500,000 homes. Yet some in Colorado want to end key incentives for wind power—just when we need them most.

Program

Conservation Colorado

Our national and state parks are where some of our families’ most unforgettable memories are formed—from our first childhood hikes to our first glimpses of wildlife. While we all know how special these places are, the funds that are meant to protect them are being spent elsewhere.

Program

Colorado Rivers Project

From Boulder Creek to the Colorado River, we should be able to raft, fish, tube or otherwise enjoy our waters knowing that they are protected from
toxic dumping and irresponsible development. But in the last decade, polluter-driven Supreme Court decisions put nearly 75,000 miles of streams at risk.

Program

Clean Air, Healthy Families

Our Clean Air, Clean Jobs plan will dramatically reduce air pollution on the Front Range. But too many coal-fired plants are still spewing carbon pollution and toxic chemicals into our air.

Program

A Million Solar Roofs

Colorado enjoys about 300 days of sunshine a year, making it one of the best places for solar in the country. We could build a million solar roofs by 2030, but only if Colorado’s leaders act now.
