Rep. Salazar applauded

I applaud Rep. John Salazar, D-Colo., for his vote to pass crucial renewable energy and energy efficiency tax incentives. This bill provides incentives for investment in renewable energy. By helping developers, these incentives will bring good, well-paid jobs to Americans. Because we already are a leader in the New Energy Economy, we should see those jobs come to Colorado.

Colorado's clean energy industry is booming, and keeping it running is crucial to improving our economy and solving global warming. Rep. Salazar's vote will help Colorado and the country win the race against the clock. I urge Sens. Ken Salazar and Wayne Allard to support the House in boosting our clean energy economy. President Bush should not stand in the way of the clean energy boom.
