Ask the State Land Board to stop sprawl

Ask the State Land Board to reconsider their decision to sell-off a portion of the Lowry Bombing Range for residential development by signing on to the petition below.

I am very concerned about your decision to move ahead with development on the old Lowry Bombing Range. The voters of Colorado have designated Stewardship Trust Land to be managed for long-term economic productivity. This land has been in the trust for less than 10 years and sprawl development creates significant costs – economic as well as environmental. These issues suggest that developing Lowry at this time is not only foolish but unconstitutional.

Please reconsider your decision keeping in mind the costs of sprawl regarding development at this time and whether this project maximizes the value of this public trust land.
