RSVP: Save the Snow- Stop Global Warming


The ski season is just getting started.  But we also know that rising global warming pollution puts Colorado’s snow at risk.  Don’t let the snow melt away, join us for a day of action to help stop global warming.


Right now the Senate is working on an energy bill that will cap global warming pollution.  Join us tomorrow in downtown Breckenridge to send a message to Senators Udall and Bennet that Coloradans want strong global warming legislation.  RSVP now to join us at media event in downtown Breckenridge tomorrow.


As Breckenridge opens and Colorado’s ski seasons kicks off in earnest, Summit County Commissioner Karn Stiegelmeier and David November, Environmental Manager of Breckenridge Ski Resort, will join Environment Colorado to call on the Senate to pass critically important global warming legislation. We want you to stand with us.

Global Warming 

Scientists agree that we need to cut pollution 25 percent by 2020, and 65 percent by 2050, to avoid the worst effects of global warming. Environment Colorado has joined the Colorado Climate Action Network in calling on the governor to set goals for global warming pollution, and support clean cars standards. Read more.
