Ask friends, family and coworkers to help stop global warming
The Rocky Mountain West has more to lose than most states if we don’t act soon. Colorado could see longer, more-intense fire seasons. Mountain ecosystems may change dramatically, threatening wildlife habitat and mountain foliage. Rising temperatures mean decreased snow pack and water supplies - leaving us with less water for drinking, agriculture, and industry during the dry summer months.
Gov. Bill Ritter can be a leader by setting science-based goals to cut global warming pollution. By setting goals that will achieve real results, we can create a clear path to addressing global warming. Other states such as New Mexico and Arizona have already set hard goals for carbon reduction – the leading contributor to global warming pollution.
Please ask five of your friends, family, or coworkers to email the Governor and ask him to take a stand against global warming.
