RSVP: Lakewood Town Hall on Clean Energy
In the past year, there has been a surge of support for clean energy. Candidates in Colorado campaigning on a message of ecological justice are now office-holders. And we want you to meet them.
Join Environment Colorado and your Lakewood state legislators for a neighborhood town hall meeting on clean energy. This is an opportunity to speak with your representatives about new laws and regulations that have made the up-front cost of home solar paneling cheaper than ever, as well as the newest developments in global warming legislation. Your representatives work for you, and you deserve to know what they are doing to make our lives more sustainable and to prevent environmental catastrophe.
There will also be a panel of environmental experts at the meeting, ready to explain how an energy audit of your home could save you money on your winter heating bills, and how you can take advantage of federal stimulus rebates for the use of environmentally-friendly practices in your home or business.
When: Saturday, November 7th 9:30 to 11:00 AM
