Thank members of Congress that voted for clean energy

Congress has taken an important step toward energy independence by passing an energy bill that raised fuel efficiency for the first time in more than 30 years. The new 30 miles-per-gallon standard will save millions of barrles of oil per day and consumers $22 billion at the pump in 2020 while cutting millions of tons of global warming pollution.

Unfortunately, partisan politics led to important clean energy provisions being dropped that would have expanded the use of wind, solar, and biomass including a 15% renewable electricity standard and critical renewable energy tax credit packages. Also lost were environmental protections from oil and gas drilling and for more balanced development on Colorado’s Roan Plateau.

Please take a moment to thank the members of the Colorado delegation who voted for clean energy by filling out the form below.
