As early as next week, Colorado’s members of Congress put
together a comprehensive energy bill that looks at both investment in clean
energy solutions and important protections for our wild lands from
irresponsible oil and gas drilling. You can help by taking a moment to thank
Sen. Ken Salazar for being a leader on clean energy and to support protections
for Colorado’s wild lands.
Here’s a sample message you can leave his staff:
“Hi, my name is _______, and I’m from ______, Colorado. I am
calling to thank Senator Ken Salazar for his leadership on a national renewable
energy standard and support for greater fuel efficiency for automobiles. I also
urge Senator Salazar to ensure that the House-passed oil and gas reforms to

energy bill. Thank you.”
