Background:
Jake Meffley joined Environment Colorado as an Energy Advocate in 2005. His primary focus has been to support the expansion of the use of renewable energy sources within Colorado. Jake comes to us with many years of management experience within manufacturing and software development and implementation firms. His direct involvement with numerous types of business ventures in the past allows him to assist in forming affiliations with a variety of organizations that all share a common objective, that of utilizing clean energy sources in Colorado. Jake is a native Coloradoan. Jake’s passion for the protection of the environment in Colorado comes from a rich family history within the state that dates back to the late 19th century. He attended Western State College in Gunnison and later transferred to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he earned his BA. He later obtained his MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
